You don’t have to live the way you’re told to live.
In fact, if you don’t want to, you don’t have to do anything the way you’re told to do it.
“But they don’t have the old products anymore….”
So, make your own!
“But it takes so much time, and I’m so [purposely] busy….”
Use a timer for how long you allow yourself to use those electronic thingies—and stick to it. You’d be amazed by how many hours your day will grow. Magic!
“But it’s a lot easier to use the new gadgets….”
And they empty your bank account a lot easier, too. Plus, they break in three years and it’s “cheaper” to buy a new one rather than have the old one repaired. Hmmmm…..
“But I don’t know how to do it…..”
That’s why you make friends with and learn from older generations. And don’t worry if you’re young, because the young have a few things they can teach the old, too. It’s a two-way street.
Because, you see, together we’re a rock. We always have been. If we stick together, we always will be. And they can’t break that bond, not with a thousand men on horseback, not with a thousand nuclear bombs. That’s why they need to constantly hook your attention and draw you away, because they’re afraid you’ll find out how strong you are.
